Carol Park

Carol Park

Carol is a practicing LPC-S, RD, LD, and CEDRD who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and trusts in the hope and healing that comes from the recovery process.

In 2014, Carol became a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator after completing extensive training in Brené Brown’s work on shame, vulnerability, and authenticity. A big believer in the work, she weaves shame resilience into her practice, facilitates workshops and speaks at local seminars.

It is Carol’s value of connection that gives her the courage to step out and try to make a difference. Carol is also the proud mother of 4, a 2X breast cancer survivor, and a Segway tour enthusiast. She finds joy in tending to her plants, cheering on Dallas sports teams and adding new books to her nightstand.

Dawn Dillon

Dawn Dillon

Dawn is an LPC-S, NCC and CEDS-S, in private practice.  She has worked with clients with eating disorders and body image issues, as well as with those who love and support them, throughout her career.

Prior to entering the counseling field in the late nineties, Dawn worked in science as both an instructor and researcher. She is committed to combining her passion for helping clients recover from eating disorders with her love of science, research and education to expand the understanding of, and compassion for, those with eating disorders.

Dawn’s greatest joy comes from time with her husband, her sons and their partners, and her dog Steve.  She’s also currently enjoying keeping at least half the plants in her house alive, which is a significant improvement from times past.

Concetta Troskie

Concetta Troskie

Concetta is an LPC, BC-DMT and RDT in private practice who specializes in body-based treatment of eating disorders, trauma, anxiety and depression.

In 2019, Concetta opened Mindfully Embodied, DFW’s first expressive arts healing center. Concetta integrates dance/movement and drama therapies with yoga, mindfulness and cognitive therapies to treat the whole person. She knows that the body is an integral part of healing, and that without using the body’s innate wisdom, the fullest expression of healing is not possible. Concetta is a compassion-centered therapist, and helps her eating disorder clients move through shame and fear so that they can re-connect to their bodies with kindness and understanding.

Concetta is passionate about spending time with her family, playing with the Dallas performance art community, traveling as much as she can to the ocean, and finding new restaurants and art galleries to explore.
